I’m sure you have been hurt by someone whom you deeply love. It was probably something you did not expect, it felt like a slap in the face.. The one you trust and love can be the same person that makes a nasty comment about you. If this comment is made behind your back, it makes the situation worse and it feels like a stab in the back. It makes you end up feeling highly disappointed and bitter. I’m someone I choose to become distant. To be honest, that is not always the best thing to do. Sometimes it is better to communicate and sort things out among the two of you.
We live in a time whereby everybody has become cold-hearted. Nowadays we prefer doing things alone and we choose to isolate ourselves. We easily stay content in our ‘lonely’ season. We live in a generation whereby people have the ‘nobody can tell me what to do-attitude’. We do what we want and if someone does not agree with us on something we easily cut that person off. The love in this world is growing cold. Even the bible confirms this in matthew 24:12 NKJV. This is a sign that we live in the last days. We often forget that the one that corrects us can be the one that loves us, but we misinterpret this with envy and feel offended.
Make sure you don’t let offence stop you from where you are going. Offence can be a cause for someone’s discouragement. Be strong and be courageous! Make sure you live your life stress-free and bitter-free. This contributes to enjoying a long life here on earth. The joy of the Lord is your strength. If you are a child of God you MUST have a joyful heart, joy is one of the fruits of the Spirit. The bible also says in Luke 17:1 NKJV that offences shall surely come, but woe unto him through whom they come. Whether you like it or not offences can never be stopped, but don’t always be the person that offends a brother or sister. Sometimes it seems as if some people quarrel for a living. Every time you meet them there is an issue they are complaining about. Rather choose to be the wiser person and never let what others do to you distract you from your destiny. Don’t let their characters influence yours. That shows how mature you are in the Spirit.
The only one that can stop you from being happy is yourself. And don’t let the devil mistreat you, his wish is that God’s children go through life miserable and frustrated.
Go through your life with eyes wide open. You have a fearsome enemy who is coming at you like a snake, quiet, hate-filled, patient, deadly, serious. But know this also: your Savior has crushed his head.
No matter what you go through in life stay positive and keep your head up. I know it is easier said than done. You will face many challenges and at times it will feel very difficult to stay positive. But what makes you strong is that you don’t allow the things that is happening around you to influence who you are as a person. Become unbreakable!
